Think of it as the bucket list for that MTV generation. Beginning in December 2009, MTV will take viewers along for quite an interesting ride while using new series, “The Buried Life.” This real-life adventure documents the epic journey of four teenage boys, Duncan, Ben, Jonnie and Dave, because they travel the continent in their purple bus, Penelope, to pursue their wildest dreams, learning from their successes and struggles along the way.

The group of four explores life with a report on 100 things they’d like to do before they die. This list includes such random things as: -Take a stranger out for supper -Get to start a date with Megan Fox -Send a message inside a bottle -Help women give birth with a baby -Tell a judge “You want the facts? You can’t handle the facts!” -Sleep in a very haunted house Throughout the lifetime of the season, viewers will ride along while using gang of four as they try and accomplish unbelievable stunts and realize their dreams.

The four friends are: Duncan, the oldest from the group at 26, that’s a wild card having a heart of gold; Ben, the 25 year-old ringleader which will do whatever it takes to obtain things done; Jonnie, Duncan’s 22 year-old younger brother, who’s a blogger and philosopher; and Dave, the 23 year-old break-dancer and “one-man party” who’s up for anything. As they whittle down their list, the four gentlemen also create a promise that per item they cross off their list, they’ll help a perfect stranger accomplish among their dreams.

The title of these journey was inspired by the poem published by Matthew Arnold in 1852 that explored the idea that the monotony of every day life can sometimes bury people and earn them forget what they’re enthusiastic about. #53 about the boys? list was successful because of MTV ? it turned out to begin a television show. MTV is found on channel 160 on DISH.
